Social indicators of ecosystem restoration for enhancing human wellbeing

This study implements the ecosystem service framework to link concepts of farming activity and restoration within circular economy. It proposes a method for identifying social indicators that can be taken into account in transition towards more sustainable agricultural systems. Using case located semi-arid Mediterranean landscapes, we conducted sampling with 350 respondents explore how an almond tree changes perceptions preferences services, these socio-ecological translate natural capital human wellbeing. Results not only indicated induced people´s such as increase diversity (i.e., local identity erosion control), but they also demonstrated cultural benefits associated services used well-being health access goods).
